So its Sultans time at PSL 2017 as all other teams have already made their retentions, trades and releases. The new entrants in PSL, Multan Sultans were asked to pick 9 players from the released players before Pakistan Super League 3rd edition. It will be relevant to mention here that Drafts will be making each of PSL side pick up their remaining players to complete their squads for PSL 2017.

Days back other PSL teams restricted their team squads to 9-players each by releasing the others. There was another option available to the PSL teams through which trading of players between two teams could also be done.

The biggest trade of the season was Shahid Afridi’s move from Peshawar Zalmi to Karachi Kings.

It will be relevant to mention here that the top picks of Sultans like Shoaib Malik, Kieron Pollard and Kumar Sangakkara were earlier part of the Karachi Kings before they released them in Pre-Draft Move.

Cricket fans out there are going crazy all over for the PSL Drafts as new sign-ups which include some of the best T20 stars across the globe will be joining in this year’s drafts. Those picked by the franchises will also be showing off their skills in this season.

Star players joining for this years’ PSL include JP Duminy, Chris Lynn, Evin Lewis, Imran Tahir and others. With some much happening and more going to happen, its hard to believe that the ‘World Boss’  Chris Gayle is still in the available as Multan Sultans have shown no likeness to the Karachi Kings dropout.

The pre-draft picks for the Multan Sultans seems to be wisely picked as it have around every bit of T20 cricket in it. Names like Malik and Sangakkara add on the much needed batting depth and Pollard brings the required experience of playing T20s under different conditions.

Other then these prominent picks, the pace set up looks superb for Sultans as they have Sohail Tanvir, Junaid Khan and Mohammad Irfan in their squad.
